Minus eBike Electric Assist Bicycle

The Safety Battery powering the Minus eBike delivers efficient, stable performance. This is a complete case spanning cell, pack and full three-electric vehicle integration.

Scope

Beyond the Cell

GOLD CARBON supplied more than cells in this project. Our ISO 9001:2015 scope explicitly covers "e-bike three-electric system integration services" — the integration of battery, motor and controller. From cell selection and pack design through protection circuitry to vehicle-level matching, this is end-to-end engineering.

What This Case Solved

Safety Architecture

Multi-layer protection provides explosion-proof, overcharge and over-discharge safety, ensuring reliability throughout the ride. On an e-bike the battery sits directly beneath the rider — safety allows no compromise.

Weight Reduction

A lightweight design extends range while reducing vehicle weight and improving handling. The High-Density Series at 280–340 Wh/kg exists precisely for this.

Cycle Life

Long life and high efficiency suit urban commuting and leisure riding — use patterns that involve near-daily charging, where cycle life determines whether the owner faces a battery replacement a few years in.

Cells Used

High-Density Series

The battery is one of the heaviest single components on an e-bike, so energy density directly governs the trade-off between range and total vehicle weight. This project uses High-Density Series cells at 280–340 Wh/kg.
