Core Technology

R2R ALD — Roll-to-Roll Atomic Layer Deposition

Nanometre-scale oxide films deposited on electrode surfaces are one source of the Safety Battery's stability. 400 m continuous web length, up to 2.4 m/min, film thickness 0.2–10 nm, depositing Al₂O₃, TiO₂ and other oxides.

Two Unedited Safety Tests

Claiming safety proves nothing. Below are two destructive tests recorded in full, unedited.

Nail Penetration Test15 sec

A 3mm-diameter nail driven straight through the cell at 50mm/sec. No fire, no smoke and no explosion at the moment of penetration.

Cross-Section Cut Validation2 min 45 sec

Harsher than penetration: the cell is sawn clean through, then measured with a multimeter. The voltage holds steady at around 4.0 V throughout — it still functions after being cut, with no voltage collapse from an internal short.
