Claiming safety proves nothing. Below are two destructive tests recorded in full, unedited.
A 3mm-diameter nail driven straight through the cell at 50mm/sec. No fire, no smoke and no explosion at the moment of penetration.
Harsher than penetration: the cell is sawn clean through, then measured with a multimeter. The voltage holds steady at around 4.0 V throughout — it still functions after being cut, with no voltage collapse from an internal short.
